The sneaker's earthy color palette and textured materials pay homage to the earth we stand on and the idea of home in the natural sense. Meanwhile, the sockliner's pattern is stamped with a paua shell emblem that symbolizes Lewi's late grandfather's affinity for seafood.
Jade accents also appear throughout the laces, tooling, and heel counter, which are affiliated with the essence of Pounamu. In Māori culture, Pounamu is an important treasure that's part of the trade between the South Island iwi of Ngāi Tahu and the other iwi.
